Shrug and Fly

[photopress:shrinky_shrug_side.jpg,thumb,pp_image]I just found out what these small pieces of women’s clothing are called: a “shrug”. What a great name. It covers the exact area of your body that you use to shrug. I suppose that’s somewhat similar to wearing “runners” or “sneakers”. Anyway it reminds me of an old joke, and that’s really what this post is about.

What do you call a fly that has no wings?

A walk.

And what do you call a fly that has no wings or legs?

A sit.

And that reminds me of the need for intelligent naming conventions and labeling. Get it right and your users can’t get it wrong.
